This support character flies around to collect coins and defeat enemies without taking damage, and can even be controlled using the innovative optical mouse mode of the Joy-Con 2 controllers. The heart of this edition is the massive new social hub, Bellabel Park. Here, you can visit the Local Multiplayer Plaza to enjoy 17 different co-operative and competitive attractions for up to four players, even utilising the GameShare feature to play with friends who do not own the full game. For larger groups, the Game Room Plaza supports up to 12 players online or via local wireless across six unique attractions. Between races and minigames, you can visit Camp Central to assist the Toad Brigade. By taking on specialized training challenges based on courses from the main adventure, you can earn patches and increase your rank from a recruit to an Elite Explorer.
