Root: The Clockwork Expansion 2

This is an expansion and requires the base game of Root as well as one or both of The Riverfolk Expansion and The Underworld Expansion to play.

Root: The Clockwork Expansion 2 is a standalone expansion that introduces four automated factions for you to challenge. Whether you're looking to round out a game with fewer players or team up for cooperative play, this expansion adds exciting new strategic depth to the Root universe. Each bot faction offers four difficulty levels and four unique trait cards that provide special powers and tactical twists.

This expansion also includes a new Better Bot trait card for each faction from the first Clockwork Expansion.

New Automated Factions:

• Logical Lizards: Destroy their gardens before their zealous acolytes overwhelm the board.
• Riverfolk Robots: Trade with these mechanical mercenaries, but be careful not to let them grow too powerful before they turn against you.
• Cogwheel Corvids: Uncover their plots and dismantle their agents before they manipulate the Woodland to their will.
• Drillbit Duchy: Defend your territory from invading legions while preventing their ministers from organizing your downfall.
