On the Northern Europe side, players must navigate the energy needs of seven different countries. These regions use very different energy sources for their electricity production, and depending on which regions are chosen at the start of the game, players will be confronted with a specific set of power plants. To reflect this regional diversity, this expansion includes twelve new power plant cards exclusive to Northern Europe, ensuring a fresh tactical experience every time you play.

The United Kingdom & Ireland map presents a different geographical challenge: managing two separate networks on two islands. With no direct connection between Ireland and Great Britain, starting a second network across the sea costs players dearly. Additionally, this map features a unique thematic mechanic reflecting the region's historical shift from a resource exporter to an importer in a very short time, causing the resource market to shift and Step 2 to begin earlier than in other versions of the game.
