During her stay in Wellington, Miho meets two pivotal figures who will shape her understanding of humanity. Juliet, a wise vampire and owner of a local library, offers shelter and ancient wisdom to those in need, while Aspen, a spirited barista and aspiring novelist, seeks inspiration in every person she meets. Through these burgeoning friendships, Miho begins to realise that there is more to people than just the "bad stuff."
