Description
The explosive conflict of the Vietnam War arrives on the PlayStation 5 in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. This tactical first-person shooter from Team 17 invites you to fight through some of the fiercest clashes in modern history across extreme landscapes, from vast mountain gorges to thick, unforgiving jungle. The battle pits the North Vietnamese Army against the military strength of the US Armed Forces in massive 50 vs 50 multiplayer confrontations. Success depends on communication and teamwork as you join or lead infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads, or helicopter units to identify objectives and ruthlessly exploit the opponent’s weaknesses.
Authenticity is at the heart of the experience, featuring six large-scale maps that recreate real-world locations and dramatic terrain with variable lighting and weather. Players can choose from 19 specialised roles, including the Commander, Sniper, Medic, and Tank Crewman. For the first time in the series, US forces can deploy fully operational helicopters for fire support and supply drops, while NVA players can construct extensive tunnel networks to launch surprise ambushes from the shadows. The introduction of heavily armed patrol boats also allows both sides to hunt the enemy through Vietnam’s complex and treacherous river networks.
The combat gameplay is more immersive than ever with six distinct modes, including the tug-of-war style Warfare mode and the asymmetrical Offensive mode. Enhanced movement mechanics allow for swimming, climbing, and fast crawling, while new interactions such as dragging wounded comrades to safety add a layer of realism to the heat of battle. Following the chain of command is essential as you utilise historically accurate weapons and tactics to secure sectors. Whether you are providing mortar support from the rear or leading a bayonet charge through the brush, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam delivers a visceral and uncompromising look at jungle warfare on the PlayStation 5.
- Large-Scale Multiplayer: Engage in epic 50 vs 50 tactical battles where teamwork and the chain of command are the only paths to victory.

- Diverse Battlefield Roles: Master 19 unique roles across six unit types, from frontline infantry and recon to specialised armour and mortar teams.
- Realistic Soldier Interaction: Features enhanced movement such as swimming and the ability to drag co-combatants away from active fire for medical aid.
