A new threat has emerged within the vibrant land of Arzium as volcanic ember zombies swarm from the south. These charcoal-bodied husks serve as walking hives for malevolent fire fairies, threatening every living thing in their path. Your only hope is to reach the city of Eastrey, a sanctuary protected by a powerful ancient artefact. In Creature Caravan, you take on the role of a leader guiding a diverse group of wandering creatures across treacherous deserts, vast plains, and towering mountains to reach safety before the darkness takes hold.

The gameplay revolves around building a sophisticated card tableau as you navigate the dangerous terrain. Creature Caravan features simultaneous turns, keeping the action fast and engaging for all participants. During each round, you will place dice on specific actions found on your cards to generate resources, move your caravan along the map, and play new creatures into your row. With 134 unique cards included, each featuring its own stunning illustration and specific combination of abilities, no two caravans will ever look or play the same way.

The journey to Eastrey is filled with opportunities and perils beyond the main path. You must compete with rival players in a shared market to trade essential goods and rare coins, search for secrets within the mysterious white towers, and directly confront the ember zombie hordes. The game concludes the moment one player reaches the gates of Eastrey, at which point victory is determined by who has amassed the most points through their creatures, discoveries, and successful combat. It is a race against time and your opponents in one of Arzium's most beautiful and dangerous eras.
