After a refreshing holiday break, it’s back to business! The past couple of days have been a whirlwind of activity, making sure everything is running smoothly. Here’s a glimpse into my day-to-day routine now that I'm back on track:

Getting Up to Speed

Thursday and Friday were dedicated to tackling a stack of purchase orders and sorting out video game preorder release dates. It’s a crucial task, to ensure that everything is in place for our customers and that no game slips through the cracks. With the preorder season in full swing, it’s all hands on deck to manage the influx of new titles.

Website Updates and Preorders

Today’s focus is on organising the next month’s worth of video game preorders. I’m working diligently to ensure that everything is listed correctly and up-to-date on our website. Key titles that are on my radar include FC 25 and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. These will be added as soon as I finish sorting out the releases for the next four weeks.

So far, I’ve managed to add several exciting preorders to our site, including:

  • Emio: The Smiling Man - Famicom Detective Club
  • Ace Attorney Investigations Collection
  • El Paso, Elsewhere
  • Yars Rising
  • Selfloss

In addition, I’ve updated our eBay listings to include all preorders releasing within the next 30 days. There were 26 in total - a sign that the new release season is starting! Despite this, I hope our customers will continue to prefer buying directly from our website, where prices are usually more favourable.

Website Enhancements

To keep our website fresh and engaging, I updated the slideshow banner to showcase Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine II, which replaces Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The change adds a new dynamic to our site and keeps our content relevant.

I also aimed to feature Astro Bot on the slideshow, but finding the right image has been a challenge. Our slides require images of 1920x500 pixels, and unfortunately, the images available were either too large with logos or too small. I’ll keep looking for the perfect fit to ensure the slideshow looks sharp.

Social Media Engagement

To round out the day, I replied to a few Instagram messages. It’s always rewarding to interact with our community, especially when it involves being linked by fellow enthusiasts like KieransKollectibles. It seems they have a soft spot for Shadow the Hedgehog, which is always great to see!

As I dive back into the swing of things, it’s clear that staying organised and up-to-date is key to managing the busy world of video game preorders. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, and I’m excited to continue bringing the latest and greatest to our customers.

Here’s to a productive return and many more updates ahead!
